Mid Valley Chevy Car Club and the Peace Officer Memorial Group are very proud to announce that they will be hosting an all makes/all years car show honoring the Stanislaus County law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. This car show will be the 7th Annual Fallen Heroes Car Show and all proceeds will go to the Peace Officers Memorial Group of Stanislaus County. This group assists the families of those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The event will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Regional Training Center located at 3805 Cornucopia Way in Modesto.
This will be a great event and many exciting things are planned. The opening ceremonies will include the posting of colors (national flags) by law enforcement Honor Guard, guest speakers, the reading of the bios on the officers lost and the playing of the Taps and Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. It’s a tribute you don’t want to miss. There will be a display of specialized law enforcement vehicles including SWAT armored vehicles and memorial/historical police cars that the public can view. There will also be a police K9 demonstration which is always very exciting.
There will be plenty of great cars, great people, food, music, vendors and raffle prizes at the show.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office has been a huge supporter of the event and we are very thankful to Sheriff Jeff Dirkse. The Modesto Police Historical Society has also been very supportive of the event. We are very appreciative for their support as well as the support from the Stanislaus Sworn Deputies Association (SSDA) and Modesto Police Officers Association (MPOA). There are many sponsors of this event who are making this event possible and it’s hard to name everyone. We hope to see all of you car enthusiasts there at the show.
The show will start with opening ceremonies at 10am. Staging of the cars will start at 7am and all vehicles must be staged by 9:30am. Awards presentation will start at 2pm.
